David, I started some evening primrose last year, they came up but never flowered. This year I am assuming they will flower. If I want the root I harvest in fall of the second year ? I know we went over this but I cannot find the note I made on this.

No the root bark is harvested the autumn of the first year, or early in the spring of the second year. It is too late for that you can harvest the leaves soon and the flowers over the summer.
