Hi hi, I'm thinking some about my friend's 14-year-old daughter whose alopecia is resistant to the conventional treatments they've tried. She's had it since she was a small child. I haven't done any sort of formal intake or anything. Just in my initial noodling, I'm thinking about autoimmune support (not sure which), circulatory stimulant (like ginger), nutritive (like nettle). Is there a hormonal component? What else should I be looking at? Thanks! lex

nutritive (like nettle) and Horsetail. it is not hormonal, except for older men and post-menopausal women. you pretty much have the bases covered. There are some studies with topical applications that have modestly helped including Ashwagandha, Aloe, Eclipta, Honestly, I have never seen anything work all that well for this condition.
