I was recently diagnosed with Lyme. I tested positive for Borrelia burgdorferi, Borrelia afzelii, Borrelia maritima, Borrelia californiensis, and Bartonella henselae. David's Lyme protocol has been mentioned a few times and I was wondering where I could locate it? The only time I recall being bitten by ticks was 6 years ago when my younger 2 sons and I came home with seeds ticks attached to us after visiting a friend. Both sons presented with the typical bullseye a week later. They were treated with 6 weeks of doxy follow by 2 months of probiotics. I did not present with a bullseye and therefore did not treat myself. I have since learned many people will not get a bullseye when bitten by a tick carrying Lyme. Thank you, JulieAnne

Yes, less than 40% of people who get lyme develop the rash. Where did you get tested for the other Borrelia species ? I know IgenX has a new test for them. As for my protocol it is not a replacement for antibiotic treatment, its is used after antibiotics fail. If you have had this for 6 years more likely than not oral antibiotics will not be very effective, but it is still the first line of treatment (4-6 weeks Doxycycline). My protocol requires it be done under the supervision of a clinician, as it is an experimental therapy and can be a bit intense.
