Hi David, Hope you are on the mend! I was wondering if you know of a good source for green bee propolis? There is a lot of literature regarding its usage in cases of fusobacterium infections. Long story short...my patient with glomerulonephritis/membranous nephropathy is seeing it slowly go into remission after rounds of amoxicillin for something unrelated. (I also started her on Seven Precious Mushrooms for immune excess/deficiency based on T-cell counts and NK cell counts) I have been suspecting, based on bloodwork, that she is dealing with a chronic low-grade infection of some sort causing IgA nephropathy. It certainly seems that I was correct, although I guess it is entirely possible the Amoxicillin is working on her condition via another mechanism of action. It's just so strange. Due to a history of endometriosis and adenomyosis, she has researched and found a connection with fusobacterium and these conditions. I don't really have a question per se, but if you had someone sitting in front of you relaying their nephropathy was going into remission with the use of Amoxicillin, what might your train of thought be? As soon as she stops taking the antibiotic, her symptoms return. She is concerned with antibiotic resistance for whatever she is dealing with that is undetectable, as well as long-term antibiotic use. I think at the very least, she should look into some herbals that are not contraindicated in kidney disease and that will shut down bacterial pumps. But what do I know? Not a lot. This is definitely a rare case. Jami Platt

I do not, the Green Propolis is mostly from Brazil, i have only worked with regular propolis. Like you based on the response to amoxicillin I suspect an underlying infection causing their IGA Nephropathy. They should also rule out Celiac, liver disease, periodontal disease. In addition to the green propolis you may want to consider Houttuynia, Chinese Coptis, Honeysuckle, or Lian Qiao.
