Hello David I am consulting with a friend (40 years old) who got vaginal infection (mostly yeast infection with itching) after intercourse in the past year, she had complicated life, she lived away form her partner for a couple of years, only once or twice a year they've met each other, now they live together ,and she complain about dryness in that area, and losing sexual desire. she is using vitex , and evening prime rose , and washing the area with apple cider vinegar incase of infection, because she got allergy to all those anti itch, anti fungal cream with chlotrimazole, ( she didn't has allergy before, this has happened in the past year, maybe because she used them too much? ) her hip is always cold there should be lot of cold and dryness concentrate in the area , any suggestion? ps, her periods are regular, no pain, she doesn't have ovarian cyst.

I do not think the hip being cold is related to the other issue. There are multiple possibilities, has she been tested for STD’s (especially Chlamydia), it is possible she is allergic top her partners seminal fluid (it really happens), it is early but she could be peri-menopausal which could explain the dryness, or yin deficient. Shatavari might help either situation. Certainly is sexual intercourse is painful (vaginal dryness) that could reduce desire, H &A makes a product called Replenish Compound, it might help her. As you can see there could be many underlying causes, and without more information, I can only offer possible solutions.

While this is not a commonly reported Long COVID symptom, I would not be surprised if it could happen. COVID infections can affect neuro-endocrine function.
