David,
No lung involvement, cold, dry, chronic fatigue, depleted, no mucus secretion. Can't get out of bed in the morning. Wiped out.
This condition confuses me, because from what I understand and have observed, it seems to have 2 different etiologies. The first one is the microbe that causes walking pneumonia, with a symptomology one would expect. Mucus in the lungs, coughing, hot/damp or cold/damp. The second one has none of these characteristics and is more associated as an emergent infection when the immune system isn't functioning properly for whatever reason...stress, Lyme, mold, long Covid etc. In this case, this is what may be happening. One of the reasons I know this, is because I struggle with mycoplasma as well as a part of my Lyme complex. No symptomology one would normally find with mycoplasma. But it always shows up on bloodwork in IgG and IgM antibodies, indicating past and current infection. If it is an immune system issue, as in, the immune system can't keep the pathogen under control, immunoregulators and immune amphoterics would be in order, as well as herbs to aid in the actual symptomology of the individual patient. Chronic fatigue, feeling achy all over, etc. Part of the formula would also need to include herbs to address the pathogen itself. I have a running list but am trying to find one that research has mentioned to be effective.
