Will we learn more about plant tribes throughout the course or is there a good resource to learn more? It seems this would also be extremely valuable in planting gardens and farms, too.

There is no text that looks at plants using that terminology, but many books on plant ecosystems (which is the same thing). I cannot recommend a specific title, perhaps Rich knows of a good reference for this - I'll ask Eileen to check with him.

So I have those kinds of books for NE N America I can recommend but they are more region-specific. -If the person is asking in a much more general way for a book on plant ecology, I would just go to a decent botany textbook and there is usually a chapter on ecology and ecosystems.
