In the class, it was mentioned that Bupleurum should be mixed with carminatives. What would be the ideal proportion for this combination? The sheet mentions that Bupleurum is beneficial for painful urination. Does this mean it can be used for urinary infections or cystitis? Thanks!

In the class, it was mentioned that Bupleurum should be mixed with carminatives. What would be the ideal proportion for this combination? David said: It depends, it is mostly used in combination with 4-10 other herbs, 1-2 parts of a carminative would usually be adequate. The sheet mentions that Bupleurum is beneficial for painful urination. Does this mean it can be used for urinary infections or cystitis? David said: No, it is not used for infections.
