Hello David, I've had this question on my mind for a while and it has come up for me again in putting together a materia medica sheet for a tea preparation class I am offering. Given that your Materia Medica is the most in depth and extensive that I have seen. Is it appropriate or not?... to quote from your materia medica sheets? I would only want to provide key content such as a phrase or a few key words. I haven't used any information from your materia medica yet. I am currently referencing Horne & Easley's Modern Herbal Dispensatory, David Hoffman's Medical Herbalism, and the One Earth Herbal Sourcebook by Tillotson. I may also incorporate Groves, Body into Balance. Is Penelope Ody's book the Complete Medicinal Herbal any good? I want to respect your work and honor the agreement we have in not sharing your written class content with others. Also, I am just focusing on herbal teas for mental wellness and upliftment. Minor anxiety, depression, fatigue. Lifestyle factors will be discussed. Although, of course, all mental health issues are important to acknowledge. I am also quoting from the Botanical Safety Handbook. It will be an organoleptics class and everyone will take small sips of teas and then formulate a supportive tea blend. I am doing this for the project due in class. I also did a kid's herbal class. The opportunities came up quickly. I sent in my submission for approval of these projects recently. Thankyou for your guidance Donna

(It is good, not great) Botanical Safety Handbook (excellent) You can quote a sentence here or there with proper attribution, the basic fair use laws apply.
