Hi Ruchard, I'm not sure if you are going to know the answer to this question, but I had a question about using ethal alcohol as a solvent for making bug spray. Is it illigal to use ethyl alcohol in a workshop to make bug spray with school age children with parents in attendance? I live in NH and I can not find anything on the books to my knowledge saying it's illegal in NH. I didn't know if you have come across this issue in your experience? My co workers think it's illigal. I though you might know where I could look this up or point me in the right direction where I could obtain more information? I am getting a lot of hate from non herbalists around me, and I would be grateful to you if you could clarify. Thank you Sandy Turcotte

Richard said: "Hi Sandy The short answer is that I don't know the answer to your question - it would be a state law so you could start with that. You can also use any alcohol - it doesn't have to be ethyl alcohol since it's not for internal use at all, so methyl alcohol for example if that ruffles fewer feathers. On a personal level, I would be very surprised if that was illegal, that seems very odd to me, especially with parents in attendance. But again I don't know that for a fact..." Rich
