Eucalyptus monograph

As eucalyptus is widely used as an essential oil, I am unsure whether the primary uses mentioned in the monograph refer to preparations such as tea, tincture, or essential oil. Could you please confirm this? There is also a section stating: “A throat spray combining the essential oils of Eucalyptus, E. citriodora, peppermint, oregano, and rosemary was very effective in relieving upper respiratory tract symptoms such as sore throat, hoarseness, and cough” (Ben-Arye et al., 2011). Does this mean that the essential oils in this spray were intended to be ingested?
