If bees collect the pollen from plants that have medicinal properties, will the honey have any different medicinal use? My bother was given honey from Japanese knot weed, and my coworker is a bee keeper, so is looking to plant St. Johns Wort around her hives to give them good pollenating flowers are different times of the year. They both asked me how that would impact the honey.

It will not have a very signifiant effect. For instance honey made from SJW will not have antidepressant or nervine effects.
