The Agrimony MM sheet states that it is indicated for “bladder or urethral irritation with burning and scalding urination” but it is not listed as anti-bacterial. Does it only work on the irritated tissue as an astringent, anti-inflammatory, and vulnerary and not on the infection itself that is causing the burning? Thank you!

Correct, it is not particularly antibacterial.
