David- I mistakenly typed in Butterbur and not Butternut Bark in my questions last class. The question I have - in reading about Butternut Bark, concern of potassium can be depleted. Is there an herb to counterbalance that has high potassium? Is Butternut bark something that should not be taken long term? Thanks!

Butternut can be taken long term, it does not cause bowel dependence and all you have to do is increase the consumption of potassium rich foods in your diet, besides it will only deplete potassium if it causes excessive bowel movement or diarrhea which is unlikely if used correctly.
