I was recently talking with a friend whom has a new diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma. She is a young (40ish) otherwise active healthy woman with 4 young children. She was diagnosed early, being treated through UPenn, happy with her providers, and appears to be responding well to therapy this far. We were discussing the diet changes she has made, and I suggested additional fresh fruits (such as raspberries etc) and green tea, and she told me she is specifically told she cannot have green tea or St Johns Wart. clued you explain the warnings re green tea? The only meds she has specifically listed for me, that she is told the tea will interact with, are Revlamid and Velcade.
