Hi David Other than controlling glucose through various interventions, what herbs come to mind for someone with diabetic neuropathy with pain in the lower legs that is described as constant, low grade and burning. Tongue is red, peeled and dry. Would H&A Aspirea compound be a good base formula, you think?

For diabetic neuropathy Alpha lipoid acid - 250 mg BID, St John’s wort, Sweet Melilot, Prickly Ash, possibly Ligusticum or Horse Chestnut.
