A friend has Esophageal Nutcracker Syndrome (spasms). I was looking into antispasmodics and thought maybe corydalis root might help. Any suggestions on what I can add to it. On the sheet it suggested kudzo, nototoptery, or siler root for an antispasmodic. Any thoughts on this? Thanks,

I have treated this and am trying to recall what I used, it included none of the herbs you mention which by the way are spelled Kudzu and Notopterygium. I think I may have used Collinsonia, processed Pinellia (very small amount), Black Haw, Gou Teng, and/or Wild Cherry bark. These are all very drying so I might have added in some Licorice or Mai Men Dong to prevent irritation
