Hi Annette. Any surgery comes with the risk of poorly healing scars. When a scar does not heal properly, it can disrupt the qi flow of a meridian. This can then cause other changes in the organs. To answer your question: Yes, I believe that removing testicles/ovaries does cause a premature decline in jing from a TCM perspective. This could then cause premature decline in yin, yang, qi, or blood (depending upon the constitution of the animal).
