Hi Dr. Warner, Thank you for what was a great class tonight! For tougher cases of endometriosis or other gynecological conditions involving a hefty amount of scarring making fertility difficult....might injecting nattokinase in the affected endometrial lining, doing ultrasound and/or shockwave therapies to break up the tissue, and/or daily application of some sort of herbal scar oil formula/suppository, help get them to the point of being fertile again (when lifestyle, acupuncture, and herbs aren't doing the trick after many months)? To what extent do you think these complementary therapies in addition to the fundamentals could assist in their reaching their goal, and with everything in play might it be take a few months or more likely a few or more years till conception becomes probable? Thank you, Michael

Wendy said: First of all, the scarring is seldom in the endometrium, it's typically in the pelvis and abdomen, so to "reach it" would require laparoscopy. If you're going to go to those lengths, then there are already good protocols in place to excise the scars, using lasers, etc. I don't have any experience with nattokinase for this. There are very interesting studies that I actually don't really understand, which show that acupuncture and TCM herb formulas can actually dissolve filmy adhesions. Didn't work as well on adhesions that had matured to be a thick scar, but worked on very filmy ones. They did before and after laparoscopy to prove it. I was skeptical about what my acupuncture colleague had told me til she shared this paper with me. Go figure!
