Hypopnea vs apnea: Case History JN

Hi David, I thought JN would have hypopnea opposed to sleep apnea as he mentioned he has nightly dreams and I thought you said that was the big distinguishing factor between the two. Would a sleep apnea test distinguish between the two? Does it really matter much which he has? Thank you, Jessa

Yes a good sleep study would would distinguish between the 2 conditions and it matters a great deal, for sleep apnea he would need a CPAP.
