Hi David, I'm starting to invest a LOT of energy and time in my garden. But geez, what if I move!?! Can you pass on any things you wish you had done differently in terms of moving, or some tips that come to mind in terms of planning a garden with the knowledge you might move within 10 years? Thank you, Jessa

Raised beds save a lot of time, (but increase costs), get plants that are resistant to fungal diseases, especially cucumbers and squash, make a lot of compost, use compost tea once plants get established to make them strong and vibrant, look at your plants every day (watch for insect pests), companion plant to decrease insect pests. use row covers to keep out cabbage worms, I use BT sprays also, save eggshells, dry them and grind them up, apply to your tomatoes and Zucchini to prevent blossom end rot, make sure you have good drainage. do not plant peppermint, nettles, spearmint or comfrey in your garden, they re very aggressive and very difficult to control, plant award fruit trees and berries if you have space.
