A friend's 30 y.o. sister who happens to be a physician living in Ga. recently had a DVT with subsequent removal of clot and stent procedure. I recommended that she see a local experienced herbal practioner. When I was reading about Gou Qi Zi in this weeks Materia Medica, I thought of her and the herbs that were recommended for leg and feet circulation. (amla, cinnamon, ginger, and horse chestnut). Although I do know that herbalists treat the person, not the diagnosis, do any key herbs arise in your mind to help support this person from the dvt and stent procedure? Just curious. Thank you. Do you know of any practioners in her area that would be appropriate?

Oscar Sierra LAc., in Atlanta is very good, so is Susan Kramer also in Atlanta. From what you have told me, I do not know enough about the person or the case to make suggestions.
