raktasodhana or rakta shodhana

Hi David, were you able to figure out the Ayurvedic alterative category? It seems like raktasodhana or rakta shodhana would fit what you are talking about....but if it's not that, curious what it is. Thank you, Jessa

Yes the term Raktasodhana seems to be similar to the term alterative but many herbs and foods considered to be raktasodhana do not fit the western concept of alteratives. So there may not really be a comparable concept.
