Dear David, You mentioned when picking a tree or shrub in order to learn its personality, not to pick a cultivar. Do you feel that consciousness has been bred out of the cultivars? Thank you, Rosemary Ganser

Mostly yes, as I mentioned it is similar to the differences between wild turkeys and domesticated turkeys, they are so different.
