Hello, I'm making an herbal tincture formula and would like to add a small amount of vegetable glycerine into the formula to soften the flavor profile. Is this a common practice? My herbs are all single extracted in alcohol, then I'm blending them for my formula. Once I have a large mix, that's when I'm planning on adding the vegetable glycerine. Any guidance on the best practice on how to formulate it in is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

He said: No , glycerin is only added if the herb has a high tannin content. My herbs are all single extracted in alcohol,( I assume you mean alcohol and water ?) Glycerin impedes absorption to a small degree, I would not add it unless it is needed
