As Betina mentioned, you might want to repost this question in the "Ask the Professor" section of the forum to get an answer from David. It's also my understanding that the "no more than 1 mushroom" thing is more about triune formulas - you only have so much space in the triune formula that putting two herbs that have so much overlap may be a waste. To my memory, the 7 Precious Mushrooms formula is based on a traditional Chinese herbal formula that combined the powers of the medicine mushrooms together. It's not a formula that is specifically tailored for anyone, but is more of a daily health building supplement that almost anyone could benefit from (except people with mushroom allergies, etc. :) ) If you or your patient would willingly comply with taking multiple formulas/tinctures daily, there's probably nothing wrong with using 7 Precious Mushrooms alongside a triune formula.
