“Free event open to the community at Ambler Arboretum of Temple University. “Thursday, October 21, 1:00 p.m. The Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania will hold a healing ceremony for the land and community. “Chief of Ceremonies Chuck GentleMoon Demund, Storykeeper Adam Waterbear DePaul, and tribal drum the Itchy Dog Singers, all of whom have personal history with the Arboretum, will conduct a ceremony, storytelling, and drumming in order to help heal the hearts and minds of the community and see the Arboretum into the future in a good way. The ceremony will take place near Bright Hall Circle in the center of campus. “Visitor parking is available in Lot 2 by the Learning Center (back end of campus) and Lot 1, the smaller parking lot immediately off Meetinghouse Road. “The ceremony will be followed by a group tree planting.
