Some of us started a discussion on last weeks' chat about communicating. There are some of us who don't use Facebook or social media. Someone suggested Reddit, and another person suggested Zoom....What about using this forum? It seems easy since it is in one place where everything else is. Not sure what is blowing up on the Facebook page as I haven't accessed it- I forgot my password, ha ha! Also it seemed a tad overwhelming. But I'd like to be a part of things... What do other people think? Jessa

Hi there! While I do have Facebook, I’ve been unable to access the group. I’m agreeable to an alternate way if communication such as this forum or texting or zoom.

I like the forum too! It's here with all other materials and the subject feature I think will be pretty helpful as communication increases

I like using the forum as well, as even though I joined the group, I am on Facebook very infrequently.

Yes, I am not very active on FB either. I agree with using this platform as an alternative! :)

I would also like the forum, I hardly go on Facebook and I think we should try it. We are already coming to the site. Are there others who are interested? I know that on the Facebook group, people are posting pictures, which might not be possible here though. But I am thinking that is would be a good start to exchange, ask questions and share!

I think we should organize a student forum using Zoom. We could join if we had a question or wanted to discuss a questions in this forum. We could set up a recurring meeting, post the link in a class email. I think we should determine how much interest is there. The Facebook page is nice too. I like that we can post pictures on there.

Great idea to use this forum instead of Fb or other -- it's right here and ready to go, with no distractions!
