TCM Book recommendation

I am finding Between Heaven and Earth by Harriet Beinfield and Efrem Korngold very helpful in understanding TCM. I had asked Andrew about it in class and he said it was especially good with 5 Elements theory. This extends 5 Elements beyond physical symptoms and includes personality and psychological symptoms from a Western perspective. Very useful. Becky Russell

Thanks for the recommendation Becky! I definitely plan to get this book. I'm not sure if you or others know of this site, but abebooks.com is very reputable and has unbeatable pricing on new and used books. Sometimes the books come with inside markings, but all of that information is usually listed in the description.

Just in case you're interested ... Amazon bought abebooks a year or so ago. I'm an anti-Amazon person and was very bummed when I discovered that. I've been using abebooks for decades and now try to find used books on other sites. Thrift Books is often useful. But there is no doubt that abebooks has the largest selection. Lindy

Oh wow!! I actually am an anti-Amazon person as well so this is very sad news but also very good to know, thanks so much! I have heard of Thrift books too, I haven't checked them out yet. What a bummer! What isn't Amazon purchasing now... shaking my head lol!

I too am anti-Amazon. Was super bummed when I found out they purchased AbeBooks. Thrift books and eBay are my go-to for books.

I found Blood Chemistry and CBC Analysis (wow! Awesome book!) on Chegg textbooks for half the price of anywhere else! Used in immaculate condition. Jessa

Thanks for the alternatives for books! I have cancelled Prime and I'm done with Amazon. My sister recommended Thrift Books also. Of course, there's also Barnes & Noble if not available elsewhere. Becky
